Opportunity:

Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Compliance and Improvement Officer.

You will be responsible for driving process and culture improvement by ensuring existing policies are up to date and aligned to how tasks are performed, createrequired additional policies and ensure robust train out, strong shop floor presence to ensure regular process compliance checks are conducted and improvements activities are identified, planned and executed in a timely manner.


Duties will include:


  • Build engagement by actioning improvement ideas generated from shop floor improvement sessions, creating working groups to track and record the benefits achieved.
  • Drive compliance with risk governance procedures by reviewing Risk assessments (RA) and Safe working procedures (SWP) identifying requirements for upcoming tasks or changes in working practices ensuring procedures are updates prior to work commencing.
  • Progress chasing and identifying when components are behind schedule and standards are not going to be achieved, raising this with engineering and assisting with improvement projects
  • Ensure all RA & SWP's are produced, reviewed & delivered to relevant personnel
  • Work closely with the Site continuous improvement team to action Projects listed on our Kaizen tracker reporting cost benefits and presented to department leads
  • Identify issues/problems by having a strong presence on the shop floor conducting process compliance checks, GEMBAS and shop floor engagement activities.
  • Recommend solutions before securing sign off to ensure items identified from the various improvement gathering processes are implemented tracked and driven to completion by producing project plans and engaging with the relevant resource to close actionsout in a timely manner, whilst remaining within departmental budgets#
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager with role out of new policies and procedures taking a proactive approach to safety campaigns.

Skills and experience required:


  • Recognised managing safely qualification
  • Experience of creating RA & SWP's
  • PUWER compliance trained
  • Able to identify projects using own initiative, communicate and roll out with mínimal guidance
  • Personable and ability to motivate and influence others
  • A professional approach with a high level of integrity
