    TO APPLY, WE NEED TO SEE THE FOLLOWING FROM YOU5+ years' experience in fire safety and 2+ years in Health & Safety within the built environment in residential and/ or commercial buildingsMust be happy to undertake Fire Risk Assessments and General Risk Assessments at the same timeExcellent written communication skills and report writing abilities including literacy in everyday IT packages such as Microsoft OfficeA comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations and guidance including :

    Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005; HM Government Fire Safety Risk Assessment Guides; The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999; Building Regulations – Approved Document B; British Standards relating to Fire Precaution and Prevention such as BS9999, BS9991 and BS5839 (advantageous).QUALIFICATIONSRecognised Fire Safety or Health & Safety memberships e.g.

    IFE, IFSM or IOSH (ADVANTAGEOUS)Minimum NEBOSH Health & Safety or equivalent qualificationMinimum Level 3 Fire Certificate or equivalentRegistered with or willing to work towards being registered with a fire risk assessors register such as IFSM, FRACS or Fire Risk Assessors Register (IFE)JOB SPECIFICSWe are offering a competitive package between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum (subject to skills, experience, location and track record)The majority of our work is within London and the surrounding area, but you may be required to work in other major UK cities such as Birmingham and Manchester from time to timeCommitted to CPD and able to attend, keep up to date with updates and courses as directed by the company (The company funds courses to increase your certification and knowledge)
