Robertson Bell are supporting this organisation to recruit an Interim Systems Finance Officer on an initial three-month contract.

The head office is based in the West Midlands, operating on a hybrid working pattern, which requires two days a week to spentin the office.

The Interim Systems Finance Officer's duties include:

Maintaining the financial systems and setting up new users, ensuring they have access.
Leading on the month end process, posting journals, processing accruals and prepayments.
Converting the monthly transactions for the Finance Director, in preparation for the cash flow analysis.
Assisting during the monthly academic budget meetings, supporting on the business planning, and preparing the accounting packs.

The successful Interim Systems Finance Officer will have:

Recent experience in a similar role, having ran the month end process.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to business partner with external and internal professionals.
Experience using numerous financial accounting softwares and strong Excel skills.
An accounting qualification or be actively studying towards this (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT)
