Job Introduction

This role will work across Saga Travel Group brands and products, currently touring (Titan & Saga), Tailor-Made and Hosted Hotels, to deliver marketing activity and brand content plans, positioning product effectively within the two brands' propositions.

As Video Editor/Producer, you will be responsible for planning, filming and editing content into multiple outputs.

You need to be a strong creative, able to set a vision for the film edit as well as be a strong technician with skills in editing, sound and grading.

Our films will be used for social, online, digital display and possibly even TV.

Whether creating simple internal video edits for staff, soundbites for social or planning and executing a product film, you'll be committed to your craft, able to translate idea to edit and deliver to deadline.

A brand champion with a terrific eye for engaging content. You're a storyteller - creative and technical.

The role is directly responsible for film production but it's not all filming.

We've lots of archives, you'll have a skill with creating a new story with existing footage, a refreshed edit in line with commercial goals.

You'll also be expected to bring the latest techniques and fresh ideas to the table. In this role, you'll develop our video content strategy. So, a love of travel and telling people's travel stories is a must.


Working with key stakeholders, you'll require the necessary skills and experience to successfully present and negotiate your vision to the business, taking your idea from concept to completion.

Good communication skills are a must, you'll be working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels on ideas and objectives. Our video content is multi-channel, multi
- brand and for multiple audiences (direct, trade, employee).


You will plan and deliver video content for marketing campaigns to increase brand consideration and conversion and amplify the brands to achieve brand fame (Titan) and support Saga's position as a superbrand.

This role will work closely across our marketing teams to drive expertise and excitement through our comms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Brand storytelling: champion both brands proposition and goal for fame/superbrand status.
  • Align outputs to key pillars under Experience is Everything banner and amplify brand proposition.
  • Adopt a flexible, enthusiastic and driven approach to achieving business goals.
  • Develop close relationships with other marketing team colleagues, and key stakeholders across Product and Operational teams to ensure that our film effectively delivers against our key messaging.
  • Lead video production flow, setting milestones and agreeing priorities across core functions.
  • Take a proactive role in identifying and resolving design improvements across campaigns and branded content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: its imperative you can convey your ideas/ambition clearly and take a brief, exploring ideas and interpret these for multiple formats. Work with designers and copywriters to ensure campaigns are joined up.
  • Planning: manage your workload and prioritise, communicate risk and project visibility.
  • Brand positioning: be single minded in our communications and ladder up to our core brand proposition.
  • Solid demonstrable experience in producing high quality, accessible film edits.
  • Video editor experience with editing and scripting software programmes
  • Strong communication skills to ensure effective liaison with stakeholders, with the ability to interrogate briefs, influence thinking and deliver on brand creative output.
  • Highly organised to delivery work across multiple initiatives simultaneously, with a structured approach to decision making.
  • Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and devising website/digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Tech savvy, stay ahead, generous with knowledge/expertise to create collaborative working.
  • Adaptable, able to pivot at pace.
