    A&D Manager

    £50,000-55,000 p.a.

    Jak is partnering with a distinguished workplace furniture company in their search for an experienced Architecture & Design manager to join their UK sales team. With a remarkable turnover of £350 million last year and ambitious growth plans, our client stands as one of Europe's leading manufacturers of furniture for corporate and public spaces.

    About the Company:

    Our client is a prominent player in the European furniture manufacturing industry, specializing in corporate and public space solutions. With a strong focus on quality and innovation, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for major projects across various sectors.

    The Company's route to market is predominantly through specialist contract furniture dealers, though this also includes the design & build and architectural sectors, as well as international corporate accounts.

    Responsibilities:

    Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director. The role will be based at London Clerkenwell showroom, but will call for travel throughout the UK including visits to the Company's other European locations. The A&D Manager will collaborate closely with the existing business development team to:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Architecture & Design (A&D) and dealer market, leveraging existing contacts while expanding the client base.
    • Organise regular contact visits and maintaining product updates for targeted architectural practices and design studios.
    • Organise showroom events and product training sessions for A&D professionals.
    • Manage accurate CRM data for all relevant A&D-led furniture projects, covering all stakeholders and project-influencers.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to company growth.
    • Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, articulating the value proposition of our products and services.
    • Collaborate with sales colleagues to optimize project success rates.
    • Prepare and present project proposals and budget quotations as needed.
    • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.

    Requirements:

    The successful candidate will possess:

    • 2-3 years of experience in interior design, specifically in FF&E commercial procurement (preferred).
    • Exposure to the A&D market and a strong understanding of A&D and dealership operations.
    • Existing contacts.
    • In-depth knowledge of leading practices and key personnel in the A&D industry.
    • Strong communication skills and a presentable appearance.
    • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
    • Collaboration skills to work effectively with design teams and stakeholders.
    • Extensive understanding of the company's core market or related businesses.
