Finance Officer - Winchester, United Kingdom - 1to1 Recruitment
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing of daily payments in and out of the bank
- Paying cheques in Bank reconciliations
- Managing petty cash transaction
- Processing bills Checking of completion statements
- Receiving, checking and posting of Land Registry / AML searches / Probate Fees / SDLT submission statements Month end process Troubleshooting ledger / payment enquiries
- Year End Auditor queries
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Have a good general standard of education (to include Maths and English GCSEs at Level 5 above or equivalent)
- Have experience in a financial/ transactional accounting environment including monthly journals and exposure to VAT
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
