Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.


New Start are recruiting again as the business is expanding and we endeavour to meet our vision of no waiting lists for referrals.


We are looking for that special counsellor who would like to be a part of a successful, growing and dynamic team.

We require experienced Level 4+ counsellors.

We work in schools across Lancashire, supporting children, young people and staff through a wide range of issues via one-to-one counselling and group work.

We particularly need counsellors in
Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre areas due to an increase in referrals to New Start.

It is essential you have a professional work ethic and are reliable, as people will rely on you.

While we can often make arrangements that suit your geography, flexibility and a willingness to travel to appointments are necessary.

Travel will be involved, a good rate of travel cost will be paid).

Essential:

  • Level 4 Counselling Qualification
  • Qualification working with children and young people
  • Previously counselled children and young people
  • Full driving license

Desirable:

  • Previously paid counselling work with children and young people
  • Experience of working in schools
  • A qualification to work with children and young people.

Job Types:
Part-time - 10 to 25 hours,
school hours, weekly


Starting Salary:
£15.00 per hour
