  • YOUR ROLEOur Risk and Insurance team based in AshbydelaZouch play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating business risk relating to insurance claims. The team are looking for an analytically minded student looking for their thirdyear placement to join them and support with enhancing data analysis and reporting to inform better decisionmaking and proactive risk mitigation through the identification of key trends.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting to the Regional Insurance Leader, you will utilise your strong data analytical skills to review and analyse data sets pulled from various sources to recognise insurance claim trends to enable the business to put preventative measures in place and minimise business exposure for the UK and Europe.


You will be required to build and present data sets and dashboards with your findings to key stakeholder groups across the business, equipping them with the knowledge and tools required to drive forward any necessary improvement initiatives.


Given the scope of the role, there will also likely be opportunities to work alongside the Regional Insurance Leader on UK and European projects relating to Risk and Insurance, allowing the role holder to build their network across the business.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?This role is suitable for a current university student who is looking for a 12-month placement opportunity that allows them to build on their current analysis abilities.

We are ideally looking for someone who has strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and who isn't fazed when working with dynamic data sets.

You will have good written and verbal communication skills, be IT literate, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel, Teams, and Power BI (training will be provided).This is a hybrid role working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 2-3 days in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the rest from home or a local site, therefore the role holder must live within a commutable distance.- WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
