    Description

    I am currently looking speak with a candidate who will take up the position as Subcontracts Manager for our client based in Surrey.

    Recently been awarded 5 new energy projects so are looking to add further engineer to their already successful team.
    Company Background

    Client is a leading engineering and technology company for the energy industry and chemicals sector who are involved in new energy projects as hydrogen.

    Key Responsibilities
    Participate in the subcontracting management strategy development.
    Implement and perform subcontracting management process.
    Perform negotiation, formation and award of formal subcontracts.
    Ensure administration of subcontracts.
    Protect from claims, disputes, and arbitration.
    Ensure formal assessment of the subcontractors' performance.
    Ensure proper handling of subcontracts, support documentation and related files.
    Ensure that technical and commercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried out promptly.
    Manage & monitor the performance of the team.
    Prepare and provide status and variance reports, estimates/budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
    Minimum Requirements
    Min 5 years experience in subcontracting activities.
    Degree engineering or similar.
