This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Proposal Coordinator to join an established business on a permanent basisTHE ROLE:
- Coordinating assigned RFI's, RFQ's and contract deviations.
- Coordinate proposal input from a variety of stakeholders including Technical Sales Engineers, Engineering and Commercial teams to enable us to produce highquality proposals.
- Edit and format proposal content to ensure the key messages are clear and submissions are of the highest quality.
- Ensuring that all Proposal Processes and Work Instructions are understood and followed consistently.
- Preparing and coordinating all proposal compliance documentation ready for submission to management for internal approvals.
- Coordinating deviations from our standard terms & conditions/sales contracts internally with the key stakeholders and preparing deviation lists ready for submission to the end user.
- Administration of all proposals and sales systems and logs to ensure they remain up to date and accurate.
- Collation of data for periodic reporting.
- Writing & reviewing various stock proposals/sales/marketing materials, including case studies and company presentations.
- Maintaining reviewing and updating of a bank of commonly used proposal information such as 'boilerplate documentation'.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Relevant qualifications, underpinned with significant previous experience in a similar role or environment, particularly in manufacturing, engineering or chemical/gas processing industry.
- Experience in the proposal, PQQ and sales presentation coordination and in preparing high quality documentation as part of a team delivering to tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail, particularly with regard to compliance tender specifications and deadlines.
- Confident editing ability to present information in a concise, readable and persuasive manner.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization.
- The ability to be assertive, persistent, and hold people accountable to commitments.
- Ability to work effectively with a global team, interfacing with team members in various countries.
- Ability to work independently, being accountable for accomplishing work with mínimal supervision.
Core skills:
- Coordination of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customerdefined timeframes.
- Coordinate and review/edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Business Development Managers, Technical Sales Engineers, Marketing, Projects, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Commercial and Legal.
- Document template creation and formatting in line with company branding.
- Strong time management skills.
IT Skills:
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft Word.
- Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Microsoft Projects (desirable).
- CRM system experience (desirable).
