Exciting Opportunity as Group Leader at Summer Camp in Upminster, London

Working Hours: 08:30 – 17:30

Compensation: £412.00 – £559.17 weekly salary based on age, experience, and qualifications

Reporting to: Camp Senior Team, Area Manager, and Central Office Barracudas prioritize the safety and well-being of children and require all staff to share this commitment.

Responsibilities as Group Leader:

• Establish and maintain an engaging base room area for children
• Implement safety policies to ensure a fun and secure environment
• Follow daily activity schedule efficiently
• Collaborate with the staff team for session delivery
• Provide active supervision and meet children's needs throughout the day
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities
• Encourage maximum participation and cater to individual interests
• Ensure general welfare and safeguarding
• Properly utilize and store session equipment

Requirements:

• Experience or qualifications working with children
• Minimum age of 18
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Positive, organized, and communicative with the ability to adapt
• Enhanced DBS check and completion of necessary training

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain Health and Safety standards
• Organize appropriate activities and ensure children's safety
• Follow camp procedures and promote good child welfare practices
• Model healthy behaviors and report any concerns
• Accommodate children with additional needs
• Assist with extra sessions as needed
