Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
£35,000 per annum

37.5 hours per week


We are currently recruiting for a multi skilled maintenance engineer who will be responsible for maintaining the site, processing equipment and providing service and support to the manufacturing teams.

You be required to have a previous background withinrepairing and maintenance of CNC mills and lathes.

Your duties will include Responsible for the development and delivery of the site maintenance

  • Developing a preventive and predictive maintenance strategy which delivers optimal mean time between failure and mean time to repair
  • Developing and managing good engineering practices
  • Regularly monitoring engineering standards and housekeeping
  • Managing and continuously improving the work order management process
  • Driving efficient execution of maintenance tasks through detailed planning and scheduling
  • Delivering very high levels of preventative maintenance and Calibration Schedule Compliance
  • Providing technical support during major plant issues or breakdowns
  • Electrical and Mechanical fault finding
  • Managing a budget for the site Maintenance
  • Recruiting, training and motivating staff

Essential qualifications/skills:


  • Forklift license and experience
  • An understanding of health and safety requirements
  • 18th edition certified
  • Mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) Licence
