    Job OverviewTo plan, co-ordinate and deliver during pre-production, production and post-production technical facilities for live, virtual and hybrid event projects (including conferences, meetings, launches, webcasts, roadshows, exhibitions, brand activations and stakeholder events) for clients represented by Strata.

    Events are delivered globally, as well as across the UK, so travel is part of the role.
    The position can be based in either London or Brackley.

    Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Pitches and Proposals:Working with the client services and production teamsTo specify technical solutions for new projectsPreparing technical collateral for pitches/proposalsPreparation of internal & external technical production costings and budgetsProject ManagementLiaison with client services and production teams on a project basis to ensure cohesionTechnical site surveysTechnical specification of appropriate staging, technology, and digital solutions for projectsBudget management – technical production costs using Procim systemSupplier liaison, negotiation and management to ensure efficiency, quality, value and cohesion within the productionCrew liaison and managementCrew and equipment logisticsVenue liaison – technical facilitiesPlatform and IT liaison – technicalManagement of project CAD plans.

    Preparation of technical production schedulesHealth & Safety and CDM preparation - RAMSLiaise with other departments within Strata ensuring that schedules and values are metAdvise producers on show software and virtual platforms with technical implicationsEnsure Quality Management of the project – ISO9001Ensure administration is kept up to dateOn-site technical management to ensure smooth, timely, high quality event deliveryReconciliation and Post EventEnsure projects are reconciled and information is passed in a timely fashion to accountsContribute to debriefs for the purposes of review and continual improvementInternal and DevelopmentTo remain up-to-date with new technology and its business applicationsTo remain up-to-date with staging design trends, materials and their business applicationsTo remain up-to-date with H and S practice and legislationTo remain up-to-date with the internal equipment inventory and facilities.

    Job RequirementsBackground in event technical / audio visual/ staging servicesPossibly a project manager in an AV/hire or staging company looking to grow into a production management roleLeadership and motivational skills (particularly on site)
