Salary:
Grade 4, £27,142- £30, 441. Appointments for this role will generally be made at £27,142, depending on skills and experience. _Please note, for internal applicants the salary will be reflected by pay and award policy_
Working arrangements:
Standard working hours between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. We offer hybrid working, with a minimum of 6 days per month in the office.
The Royal College of Physicians is recruiting two programme coordinators to assist the Falls and Fragility Fracture Audit Programme (FFFAP) to deliver a programme of work auditing the care that patients with fragility fractures and inpatient falls receive in hospital.
Purpose and scope
The programme coordinator will be responsible for organising and delivering key aspects of projects or workstreams within the wider programme work, under the direction of the project manager, and working as part of the wider audit programme team.
The coordinator will ensure that the audit programme's meetings and events, communications activities, helpdesk, reporting and quality improvement work are coordinated effectively; and that assistance of the wider team and general administrative work is delivered to a high standard.
Key tasks
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with a range of stakeholders and customers through the helpdesk
- Engage a range of stakeholders through communication activities, for example collating newsletter content
- Support the smooth running of webinars and online conferences by collating slides, welcoming delegates and taking notes
- The regular review and updating of the programme's website and intranet pages and other social media platforms

About you
- Experience of working in or with the NHS, or a similar complex organisation, in an administrative/coordination role
- Ability to grasp new ideas and information and incorporate them into expected outcomes
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to establish and maintain relationships remotely and communicate effectively with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Ability to summarise and analyse information from large documents and meetings to assist in disseminating information to wider stakeholder groups
- Experience of virtual, hybrid and in person meetings and workshop management including: planning, organisation, hosting and minute/note taking.
