    Coyne & Associates in delighted to be working on behalf of i3 in its appointment of a Finance Manager, a great opportunity for a first or second mover from a global accountancy firm.     i3 is an incubator for early-stage startups and a family office for the founder of a UK based unicorn company and a US listed aviation company.

    i3 is currently managing 3 entities as part of its group of companies, including a coffee shop, a luxury gym and cafe and an online wholesale broadband platform.

    You will be joining the i3 Finance Team, based in its Notting Hill office in London.

    Role

    Reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations, we are looking for someone to join the team to provide support to the i3 Finance Team. Given the nature of the company, the role will be broad and will constantly evolve.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
    • Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
    • Review of employee expenses
    • Approving weekly supplier and employee payment runs
    • Review of quarterly VAT returns
    • Running the audit process
    • Ensuring statutory and government deadlines are met
    • Implementing financial processes and controls, adapting to the needs of the business - Identify areas of where new systems/technologies can be implemented in order to streamline processes
    • Running the audit process
    • Ad hoc financial reporting as required
    • Training junior member(s) of the team

    About You

    Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment, you will be a recently qualified Accountant, preferably from a Top10 accounting firm, and be able to work autonomously as well as working in a team. Collaborating across various functions of the business, you will have a deep understanding of financial modelling, analysis, and reporting best practices, bringing your knowledge of audit and what good looks like to the table.
