- POSITION SUMMARY
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Required to maintain, repair, install & commission commercial catering/refrigeration equipment, such as combination ovens, fryers, grills and griddles, cooking ranges & dishwashers, walk in's, display chillers, bottle fridges etc.
- Test and undertake quality assurance checks to verify that the commercial catering equipment is working in accordance with its design specification and current regulations including air quality tests
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving faults, and organising repairs as required.
- You would be responsible for ensuring all part numbers align with the parts required on any given job.
- Other responsibilities will include periodic checks including gas, electricity safety checks
- Responsible for completing manual and electronic job sheets upon conclusion of site visit.
- Regular communication to be maintained with service coordinators.
- Responsible for maintaining, and checking van stock.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years commercial engineering experience in catering/refrigeration equipment, industrial catering/refrigeration equipment or similar highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to fault find and solve complex problems
- Strong organisation skills, ability to prioritise and multi- task effectively.
- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / LICENCES / REQUIREMENTS
- Full UK driving licence
- Hold or be able to hold CRB/DDC clearance
- COMCAT Commercial Catering Appliance qualification (COMCAT 1,2,3 & 5 – CCCN1) – F-Gas qualification for refrigeration
- Qualified and registered engineer with Gas Safe/Refcom
- Ability to work flexible and unsociable hours occasionally
