    Description
    Finance AssistantPart-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £30,000 pro rataLocation: MaidenheadReporting to the Finance Directorkey responsibilities of this role include:
    • Managing purchase ledger invoices, statements, and payments
    • Resolving invoice discrepancies and reconciling accounts
    • Processing expense claims and maintaining accurate ledgers
    • Performing bank reconciliations and generating cashflow reports
    • Maintaining sales ledger, including sending statements and chasing payments
    • Closing monthly ledgers and preparing VAT returnsThe ideal candidate will have:
    • Solid bookkeeping and accounting experience, ideally to trial balance level
    • Proficiency in VAT returns and bank reconciliations
    • Bookkeeping or accounting qualifications (desirable)
    • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (an advantage)
    • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
    • Strong communication and problem
    • solving abilities
