Description

We are working with a wonderful consultancy business who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their ambitious team in Birmingham's City Centre.

This business has grown exponentially in the last few years, both organically and through acquisition. This newly formed role will see you report to a qualified and experienced Financial Controller.

As Finance Analyst you will be integrating the new acquisitionsinto group, looking for areas for process improvement and being trusted to implement these changes.

As you find your feet within this Finance Analyst role you will be trained and then responsible for developing and maintaining financial models to be used by both financial and non-financial individuals across the business.

You will work closely with differentdepartments as you support various projects by providing financial analysis that will contribute to important decisions.

You will also contributing to the management accounts and month end process as you post accruals and prepayments, contributing to budgets and forecasts and providing variance analysis with commentary.

Ideally, you will:

Be Part Qualified by ACA/ACCA/CIMA. At Mitchell Adam we always welcome applicants from individuals who are qualified by experience.
Be experience prioritising and planning workloads effectively to deal with conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines.
Will be advanced with Excel. Have experience building and using analysis models focused on performance and cost.
Possess strong communicative skills. This role will see you liaise with individuals across the business, the ability to build strong relationships is key.
