Permanent vacancy based in York- 3 Month fixed term contract view the potential to go permanent
About Our Client:
A dynamic and innovative construction business who is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and inclusively, the business is seeking a talented HR Administrator to join the team and play a key role in supporting the workforce.
- The HR Administration duties will consist of:_
- _ Provide pro-active and confidential support in preparing employee correspondence_
- Manage and update recruitment trackers, ensuring all data is correct and relevant
- Carry out all admin related tasks in conjunction with the Recruitment including: preparing recruitment files, tracking time lines in which to recruit, feeding back to the People Team, post vacancies and liaise with applicants, agencies and media
- Assist in the delivery of new starter inductions
- Maintain individual employee training records and course databases, collating enrolment records and scanning certificates into personnel files and maintaining certificate registers
- Collate and record feedback on training courses received and provide to L&D Advisors and Manager
- Ensure all HR files and records are kept in an efficient, confidential, organised, up to date, accurate and safe manner
- Record all absences to relevant systems, and ensure return to work interviews are completed
- Regularly review (i.e. quarterly) group folders to ensure relevancy and ease of use of all documentation
The Successful Applicant:
The HR will have:
- Knowledge of basic HR principles and employment law
- Previous experience at similar level in HR environment
- Experience multitasking and prioritising
- Diary management and note taking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to build relationships at all levels
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- CIPD qualified
