About Our Client:


A dynamic and innovative construction business who is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and inclusively, the business is seeking a talented HR Administrator to join the team and play a key role in supporting the workforce.


  • The HR Administration duties will consist of:_
- _ Prepare any relevant documentation, provide input and take minutes when acting as the HR representative in formal meetings, such as first stage absence hearing and disciplinaries_
- _ Provide pro-active and confidential support in preparing employee correspondence_

  • Manage and update recruitment trackers, ensuring all data is correct and relevant
  • Carry out all admin related tasks in conjunction with the Recruitment including: preparing recruitment files, tracking time lines in which to recruit, feeding back to the People Team, post vacancies and liaise with applicants, agencies and media
  • Assist in the delivery of new starter inductions
  • Maintain individual employee training records and course databases, collating enrolment records and scanning certificates into personnel files and maintaining certificate registers
  • Collate and record feedback on training courses received and provide to L&D Advisors and Manager
  • Ensure all HR files and records are kept in an efficient, confidential, organised, up to date, accurate and safe manner
  • Record all absences to relevant systems, and ensure return to work interviews are completed
  • Regularly review (i.e. quarterly) group folders to ensure relevancy and ease of use of all documentation

The Successful Applicant:


The HR will have:

  • Knowledge of basic HR principles and employment law
  • Previous experience at similar level in HR environment
  • Experience multitasking and prioritising
  • Diary management and note taking
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills able to build relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • CIPD qualified
