We have a busy, newly expanded and refurbished, dedicated paediatric emergency department that currently sees almost 50,000 children a year.

Our Paediatric department has 22 beds split between a 16 bedded Paediatric Ward and a 6 bed Paediatric Assessment Unit based just off the Trust Paediatric Emergency Department.

Our level 2 neonatal unit has 22 beds at present (6 ITU/HDU). We saw 13,000 children in our outpatient department last year.

We have a reputation for excellent training, motivated junior doctors and consistently high quality nursing and allied health professionals. We are compliant with the London Quality standards. We work within a multi-ethnic population with a high index of deprivation. This is both a challenging and a fascinating hospital to work in. We have a reputation as a close knit and friendly team.

We want to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic consultants. All posts are amenable to part time working. We are looking for individuals who will be passionate about the quality of care we provide.

A full list of duties and responsibilities will be found within the job description and requirements for the role can be found within the person specification.
