A specialist contractor to both the water industry and wider water environment, with an emphasis on delivering innovative, low carbon and high-quality reliable solutions. Our client is seeking to accelerate sustainable and profitable growth through the appointment of a Group Business Development Director. It is envisaged that growth will be realised organically through developing industry-leading growth strategies to win, renew and extend relevant Framework Agreements. Demonstrable experienced of developing, structuring and enacting long-term growth strategies in the UK water sector will be a prerequisite requirement of the role and will be responsible for:
You will be a senior business development professional, operating as a tier contractor to the water industry and the wider water environment sector. Key personal attributes will include the need to be commercially astute, results-driven with high sense of urgency, affable and be a clear communicator. With the ability to create and nurture relationships, identify and analyse industry trends and create and hone business cases/investment proposals from inception through to closure.
