    Position: Geography Teacher

    Location: Watford

    Salary: GBP90 - GBP200 per day

    Start Date: Immediate

    About the Role:

    We are currently seeking an exceptional and dedicated Geography Teacher for one of our client schools in Reading. The school has been rated "Excellent" by OFSTED, making it an ideal place to work for those seeking a supportive and positive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in the subject of Geography
    • Promote academic excellence and support students' overall development and growth
    • Create and implement effective lesson plans and teaching aids
    • Evaluate students' progress and assign appropriate homework
    • Maintain classroom discipline and communicate with parents and caregivers about students' progress
    • Participate in meetings and complete all necessary administrative tasks

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a B.Ed. with QTS or equivalent and a PGCE in Secondary Geography
    • At least 2 years of prior teaching experience in Geography
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
    • Willingness to undergo child-only enhanced DBS check through GSL Education or be registered on the Update Service
