Robertson Bell are excited to be supporting a growing government organisation to recruit an interim Financial Accountant on an initial 9-month contract with the likelihood of being extended.

This role can be worked on a hybrid model with the requirement to attend their Central London office twice per week

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting on the production of statutory accounts and reports in accordance with the relevant standards and policies.
Playing a key part in both the internal and external audit, liaising with auditors, and providing necessary information.
Preparing and submitting tax returns across multiple income streams.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial controls, systems and processes.
Have recent experience working in a similar role, ideally within the public sector.
Ideally be a qualified accountant.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Demonstrate extensive use of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.
