Junior Electrical Estimating

We have an opportunity for an Electrical Estimator based in the West Midlands to join our successful and well established electrical contracting company.

This position would suit a recent
electrical engineering graduate or a
fully qualified electrician with the desire to develop a successful career as an Electrical Estimator.

The Role:

Will be suited to a qualified electrician who is looking for an office based role.

Review tender specifications and drawings to understand the scope of the project.
Completing take offs of materials
Obtaining quotes for materials and specialist subcontractors
Review of quotations to ensure the materials, equipment or specialist is compliant with the tender information.
Data entry into our estimating software
Working with our Electrical estimators to ensure fully compliant bids.
Produce Tender letters and summaries to meet the requirements of the tender submission.
Tender meetings with bid manager
Assist with variation pricing / technical information through the projects.
Previous estimating experience would be desirable, but not a requirement.
Experience in using estimating software, but training will be provided
Keen eye for detail / problem solving
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication and listening skills
Commitment to company ethos to meet the demands of this fast paced industry
Polite, Enthusiastic and Energetic
Looking to create a career as an Electrical Estimator.
Live in the West Midlands

Salary package will be negotiable in line with qualifications and experience.
