Role:
Director of Finance & Resources (Charity)
Office Based, 5 days per week

I am currently representing a well-established & respected Charity, who operate on a global scale, to find their new Director of Finance & Governance.

This will be a highly pivotal role in the smooth running of the charity, with a large portion of this role being the management/control of their assets & investments (C.£This role is also inclusive of being responsible for making robust governance controls on an organisational level, with the tasks of developing & implementing the necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management.

Partnering with the wider business, a bit part of this role will be working alongside the Regional Managing Directors, to assist in strategic decision-making (which includes the full range of FP&A, reporting, risk management and general accounting).

Due to the nature of the charity's values & ethos, applicants are required to have an active/personal commitment to the Christian faith (permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010)
Managing the Finance function of the charity (globally), with the remit that covers all seven continents.

Have an influential role in assisting with the legal stance the charity takes, for example, overseeing business insurance / contracts / legal documentation.

Assisting with the general HR & Administration approach the charity takes (Recruitment, performance reviews, driving for efficiency)

ACA/ACCA/CIMA fully qualified (6+ years PQE)
Proven experience working with a charity business, dealing with a portfolio of investments & assets
Previous exposure dealing with HR & Legal functions, within non-profit's and Charity's
A follower of the Christian faith
