    Who you are?


    As a Workshop Plant/Fleet fitter you will have experience of working on plant or fleet as well as strong IT experience.


    We're looking for people who are self-motivated, flexible, effective communicators who pride themselves in working to high-standards to provide high-levels of customer service.

    You will hold a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in engineering either working with LCV's, HGV's or Plant equipment are preferred.

    Ideally you will be experienced in LCV, Construction plant, material handling or ancillary equipment. You will be conversant with a range of disciplines along with strong diagnostic and electrical systems capabilities. However we can provide training for any areas you are looking to develop in.

    As a Workshop Plant/Fleet Fitter, you'll get the opportunity to:

    Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to plant
    Fault diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical faults found
    Ensure Health & Safety and good working practices within the workshop are followed
    Completion of work is via a PDA device to ensure electronic work records
    Carry out minor and major repairs as directed
    Identification and capture of damaged plant at the depot
    Day-to-day communication across plant office, yard and workshop functions
    Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions `Safely, Healthy, Environmental & Quality`(SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to, adopting a safe method of working at all timesWhat you'll bring:

    Fully qualified plant/Fleet technician to NVQ2/3 or equivalent through a recognised training scheme
    Experience of working on plant/Fleet
    Competent use of company IT and diagnostic tooling
    Driving Licence essential
    Fork Lift Licence - Training will be givenWhat's in it for you?
