A superb opportunity has arisen for a strong, Financial Accountant.

My client is looking to recruit someone initially on a 3-month fixed term contract basis and after this period, if both parties are happy the role will turn permanent.


The role will be extremely varied and it requires an individual that is flexible and willing to help out with any task, no matter how small in order to get the job done within the agreed timescales.

You will be a hands-on Accountant, with a proven trackrecord within a similar role. My client is open to applicants who are studying, professionally Qualified or Qualified by Experience. For them, it is all about attitude and the ability to work with minimum supervision.


As they operate in a global market place, that is fast paced and ever-changing, my client allows flexible and hybrid working, in order to fit in around their many international clients.

Currently they work 2 days in the office per week, based out of theirattractive City Centre offices.


Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with the full month end process
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Purchase/Sales Ledger invoicing from start to finish
  • Credit control, chasing outstanding payments
  • Processing expenses
  • Purchase orders
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Fixed assets
  • Journal entry
  • Reconciling the month end accounts
  • VAT
  • Processing multicurrency transactions
  • Payroll processing for approximately 55 employees (salaried)

Person Spec:


  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive in approach
  • Previous payroll and Xero experience would be highly advantageous
