    Would you relish the opportunity to help build and develop an exciting alumni volunteering programme?

    As Alumni & Supporter Engagement Officer (Volunteering), you'll help to build and manage an exciting alumni volunteering programme, giving alumni and supporters the opportunity to give their time to support a wide range of University priorities, including student recruitment, graduate employability and raising the profile of the University internationally.

    You'll use different channels to proactively build and manage relationships with alumni around the world, encouraging them to volunteer and ensuring they have a positive volunteering experience with us.

    Your priorities will include:

    • Fostering mutually beneficial relationships with individual and groups of alumni around the world using a range of channels, including email, social media and LinkedIn
    • Working with colleagues across the University to identify and develop new volunteering opportunities.
    • Managing our online E-Mentoring community of more than 3000 alumni e-mentors
    • Managing and developing our new graduate volunteering programme – the Graduate Ambassador Scheme
    • Maintaining up to date and detailed records of volunteering activity on the Alumni CRM system

      What we are looking for:
      • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
      • Ability to work independently and a desire to be innovative and proactive
      • Ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
      • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
      • Experience of developing and delivering activities and projects
