Learning Mentor - Stevenage SEN Provision - Within Mainstream school
Are you passionate about supporting secondary aged pupils who are hard to reach? Have you got experience working with excluded pupils or those with SEMH?

Tradewind is working alongside a large inclusive Secondary School with an internal SEN provision.

The department focuses on the education of pupils facing permanent exclusion from their school or others in the local area on short term referral placementsvia the local council.


Criteria:

Degree Qualified:

Experience of working with SEMH pupils or Secondary aged pupils:


  • Knowledge and/or training with ADHD, ASC and SEMH difficulties:
-
Provide x2 references from your most recent employers:


  • Be available for the duration of the academic year starting in January or February half term on a full-time basis:
-
DBS on the update service or able to to complete one asap (we can support with this if required):


  • Live locally to Stevenage, Hertfordshire or be willing to commute/relocate:
-
Strong behaviour management strategies and positive approach to supporting pupils with SEMH:


  • Team player, reliable and professional conduct at all times
