Description

Purchase ledger assistant will:

  • Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and process payments to suppliers
  • Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve any issues
  • Maintain organised and accurate purchase ledger records
  • Assist with monthend close and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions

Profile

Purchase ledger assistant will have:

  • Proven work experience as a Purchase Ledger Assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of purchase ledger principles and procedures
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
