Description
Purchase ledger assistant will:
- Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to suppliers
- Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve any issues
- Maintain organised and accurate purchase ledger records
- Assist with monthend close and financial reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions
Profile
Purchase ledger assistant will have:
- Proven work experience as a Purchase Ledger Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of purchase ledger principles and procedures
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and timemanagement skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
