Job Description:


  • The Compliance Design and Integration Principal is responsible for ensuring various components of compliance design are integrated; and that cadence through the Design stage is upheld to enable timely transition to the deployment stage. Reporting into the Head of Compliance Transformation, this role will provide day to day leadership and coordination across the Design stage of the Compliance programme.

Key tasks include:


  • Responsible for the definition, implementation and custodianship of Compliance Design approach to support realisation of the Compliance outcome and objectives.
  • Supports the Head of Compliance Transformation by taking accountability for the day to day management and coordination of the Design Stage, ensuring projects are converging towards achievement of the outcome and that key milestones and dependencies are understood, communicated and controlled.
  • Escalating matters arising to the Head of Compliance Transformation for resolution or onward escalation to appropriate Beyond Finance Governance structures.
  • Integration of the activity in furtherance of the overall Compliance outcome.
  • Ensure that proportionate and effective governance mechanisms are in place and team members are clear on their responsibilities.
  • Monitors resourcing and supports the Head of Compliance Transformation in ensuring they have appropriate resource capacity and capability to successfully execute against plan.
  • Providing regular communication to the Head of Compliance Transformation on priorities and progress.
  • Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Prior senior role within in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) or equivalent programme.
  • Experience of successful implementation of strategy/projects.
  • Experience in a global/ multinational, vertically integrated group of companies of similar complexity.
  • Senior/ executive level stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Excellent programme management skillsets: organisation, communication, reporting, risk and issue management, financial management.
  • Programme management accreditations desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience the mobilisation and running of programmes.
