Purpose of the Role
To deliver excellent customer service and be responsible for arranging plant, tool and machinery hire to customers, as well as dealing with customers queries in a professional and timely manner.
What skills and experience are essential to do this job?
- Excellent communication skills in order to carry out the role in a professional attitude, you will have previous experience in delivering customer service to high standards
- To deliver all customer service in a professional manner including when answering the phone and any written communications.
- To be well organised and manage own work load as well as work as part of a team.
- Experience of working under pressure, managing tight deadlines and reaching timescales.
- Prior knowledge of customer service.
- To have competent knowledge and skills in outlook, word, excel and general computer knowledge
- To have a good understanding of our digital hire system.
What do I need to achieve and deliver to be effective in this job?
- Have excellent knowledge of the hire fleet
- Answering the phone in a professional manner to deal with customer enquiries and needs
- To ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
- Using the hire system to carry out and complete reports, add quotes, place orders, raise collections and any other customer/supplier requirements.
- Process any/all paperwork and ensure it is filed correctly
- To ensure all administration work is carried out to company standards
- Ensure work area is kept clean and presentable.
- To pass on any customer feedback to your line manager.
- To undertake any other duties or special projects which may be regarded as within the responsibility of the post.
To be successful in this role I may have experience in these areas:
- A proven track record in dealing with customer queries
- To have a professional style with a high level to attention to detail
The role is based in Beckton.
This role is for an immediate start
Contract length: 3 months
Salary:
£12.82 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
