Training Coordinator
Job description:
Responsible for the provision of training and compliance with the Offshore Workforce Training Matrix and the Competence Assessment and Assurance scheme.
Maintain accurate training certification records within Onboard Tracker and provide a focal point to the offshore workforce for any training related queries.
Main Accountabilities:
- Coordinate all training course bookings for the offshore workforce in accordance with the training matrix and company approved vendor list
- Coordinate the bookings for all approved nonmatrix training requests, incl. project specific training
- Liaise with external training vendors to secure training dates in accordance with operational requirements
- Attend planning meetings with resource planners to discuss crew planning and provide updates on any Project specific training requests
- Schedule employees attending training in Onboard Tracker
- Complete timesheets in Onboard Tracker, where required
- Ensure accurate recording of data in Onboard Tracker
- Provide any data reporting required for department / OneFleet KPI's
- Support with data collation for SMarT funding claims
- Build and maintain positive relationships with the offshore workforce, including vessel visits (where practical)
- Support with the development and maintenance of all processes and procedures relevant to training function
- Collaborate with L&D team on the shared learning courses/events
- Undertake all administrative tasks associated with training

Qualifications (professional, technical, academic):
Essential:
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Word and Excel
Typical background and experience required:
Essential:
- Foundational knowledge of marine, construction and diving legislation and industry standards
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT Skills
- Communication skills (ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders to articulate requirements and encourage action)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and be responsible for own time management
- Customerfocused approach
- Interpersonal skills (ability to generate and maintain professional working relationships with key stakeholders)
Nice to have:
- Experience of working in a similar role in the Oil and Gas service industry
- Knowledge of learning and competence management systems
