Solicitor - Disease - Defendant - Leeds

My client, a Top 60 UK Law Firm, are looking to expand their EL/PL (Disease) Personal Injury team in Leeds by recruiting a qualified solicitor.


The Role:


  • Manage own caseload of defended EL/PL pre and post litigated claims and assisting more senior members on higher value and more complex claims.
  • Working closely with Insurers, their insureds and corporate clients providing not only technical advice but also added value services for the client.
  • Meeting financial targets.
  • Ensuring knowledge of the applicable preaccident protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and court processes are kept up to date.
  • Qualified Solicitor with proven experience in a legal based environment handling disease claims, both pre and post litigation.
  • Proven ability to assess legal liability, causation and damages and the need for investigation or rehabilitation.
  • Proactive and results orientated.

Benefits:


  • Salary ranging from £27,000 £35,000 DOE.
