Location:
Cambridge campus with occasional visits to Chelmsford campus

Job Role:

To support academics and students in the development and implementation of technology enhanced learning and teaching within the Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine and Social Work.

Across Anglia Ruskin University we use Instructure Canvas as our learning management system and Microsoft Teams for collaborative learning. We are also developing our use of virtual reality and mixed reality (HoloLens) to support active learning.

Specific Responsibilities:

Training and supporting academics to create content on Canvas learning management system
Providing support to academics raising issues on the HEMS learning technologist helpdesk
Providing technical support in setting up and managing formative and summative exams and assessments
Supporting academics to record clinical assessment in our skills labs using web cameras
Copying canvas sites for academics from one trimester for delivery in next trimester.
Providing support to academics during online learning sessions

Criteria

Digitally competent able to learn to use new learning technologies rapidly.
Excellent communication and team working skills
Excellent organisation skills
Creative and adaptable
Developing/creating content on a learning management system ideally CANVAS LMS but experience with other LMS systems acceptable.
Use of tools to develop learning content e.g., Rise, Articulate 36
Media skills creating and editing videos
