- Performing routine database administration tasks (backups, restores, monitoring)
- Evaluating and monitoring the performance of the cloud data lake system
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts for routine database tasks
- Setting up of new users, SCIM provisioning
- Identifying and resolving database-related issues
- Collaborating with Data Engineers, Developers and Data Architects to design and implement scalable and efficient database solutions in the cloud
- Working closely with the Data Architect to manage the migration efforts to migrate my client's on-prem DWG to the Cloud
- Insurance or Financial Services experience
- Snowflake is essential for this role
- Proven DBA skills within cloud-based environments
- Knowledge of Cloud database management systems
- SQL Server and Microsoft Stack
- Data Lake expertise
