For this post you need to drive, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

You will be expected to visit service users in their own homes to support and guide them during crisis period.

You will be expected to support STR workers, Associate Practitioners, Community nurses, Advanced nurse practitioners and the Clinical Lead in implementing effective changes within the team to ensure the service meets the Trust's objectives.

What is Staff Bank?


Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.


All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.


If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.


The post holder should work well under the overall supervision of the Advanced Nurse Practitioners and will be required to undertake the duties of the post.

Active participation will be required in the training and education of learners allocated to the community settings, and will also encourage integration between the ward teams and the community services.


Support is given by way of regular meaningful supervision and appraisal, reflective practice and Trust wellbeing services of advice and counselling.
