Our client has a current opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, based in Inverness.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will carry out repairs and maintenance of rotating equipment, such as gearboxes, pumps, motors and generators to provide outstanding service to the customer.
Fault-finding in all aspect of industrial electro-mechanical equipmentSite work for the Installation and/or removal of equipment from site
Repairs to all types of rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, AC/DC, motors and Alternators within a workshop environment
Works will involve ability to work unsupervised alone and part of a team both on site and a workshop environment
Overtime and working away from home will be required on occasions
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a commercial, distribution or industrial environment
Previous experience on sitework and workshop in relation to repairs and installation removals of rotating equipment
Mechanical Engineering Trained and Certified
Fully capable in mechanical works
Ability to work unsupervised alone and part of a team
Confined Space, CSCS Card and Forklift and working at heights training are all desirable
Full driving license
Training can be provided to the successful candidate
