    Infrastructure Architect (VMware Specialist)

    • Brief Overview

    As a VMware Specialist, you will have a key role in developing an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform using VMware technologies like vRealize Orchestrator (VRO), VMware Cloud Director (VCD), and NSX-T. You'll work closely with diverse teams to design, deploy, and enhance virtualized environments tailored to clients' specific requirements.

    • Your Responsibilities
    • Design and implement VMware-based IaaS solutions based on client needs and industry standards.
    • Set up and optimize VMware vRealize Orchestrator (VRO) workflows to automate provisioning, deployment, and management tasks.
    • Handle deployment and administration of VMware Cloud Director (VCD) instances, including resource pools, organizations, virtual data centers, and networking.
    • Configure NSX-T for software-defined networking and security in virtualized setups.
    • Collaborate with other teams to merge VMware solutions with existing systems and technologies.
    • Offer technical support during testing, issue resolution, and troubleshooting of VMware infrastructure problems.
    • Create and update documentation, such as architectural diagrams, operating procedures, and technical guides.
    • Stay informed about new VMware technologies, trends, and best practices to foster innovation and improvement.
    • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing VMware-based virtualization solutions, focusing on vRealize Orchestrator (VRO), VMware Cloud Director (VCD), and NSX-T.
    • Thorough knowledge of virtualization concepts, VMware vSphere architecture, and related technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automating VMware environments.
    • Strong grasp of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and expertise in NSX-T configuration and management.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile teams and convey technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Hold VMware certifications like VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP).
    • National security clearance is mandatory for this position.
