The worker will be based at Laurence House in Catford and the expectation is for hybrid working with a minimum of 2-3 days office or community-based - (Railway) Catford and Catford Bridge which are next to each other, two stops from London Bridge.

Laurence House is a 3 min walk from the stations. It's also accessible by public transport and 30 mins from the M25.

The role is for a family practitioner in CLA, for a period of 6 months.

Family Practitioner is required to support social workers in completing life story books for Children and Young People in care.

This will involve visiting children, families and foster carers both past and present to help put together the child's life story.

Experience of having undertaken Direct work with children and young people is required, and successful applicants will be expected to attend further training for this role.

We are ideally looking for both an FP to start within 2 weeks, with interviews next week at the latest.

In terms of line management, they will be managed by a member of the Workforce Development Group but will link in closely with CLA social workers to do this project.

Parking is available at a subsidised daily cost.
