Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior opportunity on behalf of a flexible and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Cardiff.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is AAT Qualified or may have started studying towards ACA or ACCA (QBE also considered) seeking career progression, plenty of flexibility and/ or a supportive environment around your exams.

Our client is offering an excellent remuneration and benefits package, full ACA/ ACCA study support (optional), flexible working hours and a good work/ life balance.

Part time will also be considered.

The role can be seen in more detail below:

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

AAT Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student/ Part Qualified
QBE also considered
Minimum of 2 years practice experience (Ideally)
Good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
