Project supervisor – Derby
Fixed term contract – Full Time

Oversee mechanical engineering services and construction project delivery and prepare reports, estimates, specifications, drawings and works schedules for quotations or tendering.

Direct a programme of inspections, risk assessments, effective lift maintenance and repair that ensures that lifts are available and safe for use.

Responsible for setting the design and quality specification for the Councils building construction and maintenance projects ensuring projects are delivered to the required specification, quality and budget.

Monitor performance of mechanical, design services, responsible for addressing contractor or consultant under performance and resolving issues. Check mechanical test certification and/or commissioning certification to ensure council properties comply with mechanical and British Standard regulations. Make site visits to council properties to survey or check installations.
Manage the completion and handover of council building contracts.
Undertake/commission ad hoc valuations as required.
