This role is suited to an individual with experience in film education and administration. Senior Short Courses Coordinator will ensure high standards of course delivery and ensure exceptional student experiences.

You will prepare for the delivery of all LFA short courses, engaging with tutors, preparing classrooms and facilities, and updating and improving all course materials.

You will also be the first point of contact with all short course students and bring a friendly and professional approach.

The Senior Short Courses Coordinator will work very closely with LFA staff, particularly the Operations Team and the Admissions Team.

You will have regular interaction with students and tutors.


Requirements:


  • Provide a main point of contact for all short course students and tutors.
  • Coordinate the effective delivery of short courses curricula, to source and brief tutors and facilitators, to provide continuity for both tutors and students and in accordance with agreed processes and standards.
  • Plan, schedule and timetable all short courses in accordance with agreed processes, standards and budget.
  • Coordinate all the deliverables for short courses.
  • Supervise student productions across all short courses, managing relationships with actors and external crew, reviewing formal production documents which require signingoff. Included is creating production and postproduction role allocations and shoot schedules, casting actors, hosting pitching panels and masterclasses with industry guests.
  • Process DBS checks and other confidential information.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are in place.
  • Maintain uptodate records for students, graduates and tutors. Ensure new tutors are properly inducted and have necessary documentation on file.
  • Support in organising and hosting interviews for potential tutors and minute taking.
  • Share responsibility for the development and sharing of marketing materials to support student recruitment.
  • Share with the LFA team responsibility for supporting the Academy's events; when requested attend events and make presentations that promote LFA provision.
  • Support the effective delivery of any private tuition and school group bookings as and when required.
  • Ensure student experience is being considered at all times, including pastoral support, health and safety briefings and inductions are accurate and provided.
  • Respond to short course enquiries if required.

Essential:


  • Successful track record and experience within a film education environment.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and OS.
  • Technically proficient in online platforms, such as Zoom or MS Teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in a customerfacing environment.

Desirable:


  • Qualification in film production.
  • Experience of working with young people

Role Details

Salary:
£30k - £34k per annum

Hours of Work: 9:00am - 5:30pm, usually Monday - Friday, occasional weekend working may be required depending on company needs

Based:
LFA Headquarters, Walham Grove, London SW6 1QR
