An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bladder and Bowel Team as a Trainee Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse. As part of the trainee role you will be expected to undertake training which is relevant to the role to meet a range of competencies. You will also be expected to undertake further academic studies as required for the role. You will be a band 5 whilst training and progress to band 6 once competencies/training have been completed.
The Kent Continence Service (KCS) are a team of Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurses, Pelvic Health Physiotherapists and Assistant Practitioners who work across East and West Kent to deliver one to one support or health education for referred clients with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction. We offer a service to clients in East and West Kent.
Main duties of the job
This role will be based in Aylesford in West Kent. Clinics are run in Aylesford, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. We undertake virtual appointments and home visits within these localities. We also provide teaching and support to other healthcare professionals and/or family members as required. There may be times when you are expected to travel across East and West Kent. Due to travelling across site, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have a car.

With years of expertise in the care and treatment of bladder, bowel and pelvic health conditions we are able to offer individualised care and support in line with best practice.
