    As a Global Category Manager in the sub-category team of Vessel Procurement, you will support several of our offshore projects in the United Kingdom, Ireland and APAC during the full lifecycle of projects

    Your future plan

  • Be responsible for the interfacing of supporting functions and projects to compile and draft all RFI/RFQ documentation for issuance to the market for Crew Transfer Vessel requirements.
  • Have the ability to evaluate RFQ responses on a Total Cost of Ownership basis to ensure selection of the most appropriate suppliers
  • Provide commercial and legal negotiations with support from the inhouse or external legal team and ensure contracts are implemented in a manner consistent with the contract terms and conditions
  • Provide support to monitor key performance indicators of suppliers.
  • Support our global offshore projects with the drafting of appropriate project procurement strategies
  • Complete purchase orders, variations orders, invoice workflow and documentation in SAP
  • Also lead the vendor qualification process with the suppliers of the vessels category
  • Develop, implement and maintain relationships with key suppliers using the most appropriate Supplier Relationship Management tools
  • Your profile

  • Experience in the maritime world with either a developer or vessel owner with good working knowledge of BIMCO contracting forms
  • Proven ability to effectively understand commercial risks to minimise impacts to the project
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and adapt quickly to a changing work environment
  • Very good communication skills in English, both orally and written, additional languages are beneficial
  • Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures
  • Ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally as required to support delivery of your contracts
