    WHAT TO EXPECT

    Do you have experience in inventory management, with a strategic mindset?

    As the Lead Inventory Analyst, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of New Model launches across our entire dealer network. The team has recently implemented a number of system transformation projects designed to improve the management of new model vehicle launches across JLR.

    You'll be given the opportunity to develop on your skillsets and become a SME in the department to drive continual change and improvements. As part of the New Model Inventory Planning team, this role will also give you the opportunity to gain a full understanding of the service parts and accessory business.

    By working collaboratively with our internal stakeholders and customers, external 3PLs and suppliers, you'll be responsible for the calculation, deployment and maintenance of the correct breadth and depth of inventory cover globally for not just major vehicle launches but all model year updates. You'll be expected to support and contribute to the lesson learnt exercises across the wider Parts Product Management team.

    This is a great opportunity at a period of great excitement and activity, supporting the launch of new Jaguar and other electrified nameplates across all of our brands, and provides great exposure to support the introduction of their vehicles to our global customers with excellent levels of parts support to facilitate a Modern Luxury experience.

    There is the opportunity to gain exposure across all Global Supply Chain during this period. We are a small, empowered and closely knit team who work collaboratively depending on our upcoming and current workflow, and offer a flexible hybrid working environment.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Accurate generation of Initial Stock Orders (ISOs) for each market, utilising new SAP based systems, business intelligence, market level communication and feedback to optimise inventory planning results.
  • Timely deployment of inventory to hit and maintain bin fill targets in all markets before Start of Delivery
  • Cost effective planning to expedite material using Premium Freight if necessary, balancing business requirements, customer expectations and costs
  • Working with key markets during the launch phase to mitigate any quality or demand capturing issues.
  • Working collaboratively with other teams in Global Parts Supply Chain, Aftermarket Purchasing and 3PLs, responsible for reporting accurately through weekly Review Meetings for projected bin fill pre launch and availability post launch on all new model programmes
  • Involvement in Nerve Centres and other forums to gain understanding of issues affecting new programmes, proactively expediting material to cover if required
  • Support projects and delivery of improvements within the team and wider business
  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    As the Lead Inventory Analyst, you'll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Considerable experience of the parts business and/or knowledge of the JLR supply base with a broad understanding of the individual functions (and their interdependency) within the Parts operation
  • Results oriented with a determination to make things happen.
  • A highly motivated, energetic and pro-active individual.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment with a natural sense of urgency
  • Well organised with a process orientation with great attention to detail.
  • Able to forge excellent working relationships with internal and external customers, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Have a strategic mindset, be able to demonstrate an aptitude for thinking around an issue to develop a "big picture" view
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify how one issue can impact on another
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in a planning/procurement role within an aftermarket or manufacturing facility
