    We have an opportunity for an HR Advisor in the editorial management team, providing comprehensive and pragmatic support on the full range of HR generalist activities, which include but are not limited to the following:

    Being one of the primary data controllers for Editorial, ensuring adherence to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

    Supporting the staff transfer process, internally and overseas.

    Producing variation-of-contract letters and other paperwork required for staff in Editorial.

    Providing advice and assistance on company policies and procedures to colleagues.

    Providing an excellent and timely employee onboarding service, including the collation and retention of relevant documentation and employment contracts.

    Conducting pre-employment checks.

    Managing the onboarding process for new employees.

    Recording, updating and maintaining all employee data on the HRIS (People Hub) in line with GDPR.

    Providing company reference requests.

    Liaising with the senior editorial manager, department heads and the HR and payroll teams to communicate salary and benefits changes.

    Managing the administration of the exit process for Editorial colleagues.

    Providing assistance for employee relations matters, including but not limited to sickness, performance, capability and redundancy.

    Being aware of changes in employment law.

    Contributing to any other activities commensurate with the role as advised by the Senior Editorial Manager.

    The skills and attributes ideal for this job include:

    Previous HR Advisor experience or accredited CIPD training.

    Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.

    A collaborative approach to working with direct and indirect stakeholders.

    Consistent delivery of excellent standards of service.
