We are Ambitious

That's why we need determined & motivated people like you, to help us to deliver critical works on behalf of our customers.

The Role:

Ahead of our operational teams arriving at their destination to carry out van pack works, you will be surveying and assessing the immediate and surrounding work area, specifically looking for hazards and blockers.

Your specific responsibility is to reduce the number of aborted planned works, ensure our teams only carry out activities if it is safe to do so, that productivity is high, and the overall operation is cost-efficient.

All work orders should be delivered safely, correctly and on time, and you will be assisting in this objective through excellent planning, communication, and collaboration.

These are some of the activities you will be involved in:

  • Ensure jobs are planned and carried out in accordance with relevant Health & Safety & CDM regulations
  • Communicate any plans, changes & new work requests, assessing domestic and sewage drains
  • Investigate and evaluate works for localised sewer and surface water blockages and identify and remove or minimise risks
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all aspects of prework and engagement are understood
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate.

A NRSWA accreditation, experience of CCTV, high-pressure water jetting and van pack equipment, confined spaces, SSST/SMSTS or IOSH certificate along with Temporary Works supervisor training is highly desirable.

In addition to the above, we're keen to see a CDM awareness qualification.

An understanding of water quality regulations and experience of water mains construction are important for this role.
