    Job summary

    This position is to head up the role of Practice Manager overseeing all Practice staff and patient facing operations. There is anlready another Practice Manager who shall oversee the development of the practice and the business element and its continuing expansion and development .

    Both of the Practice Managers shall report to the Executive GP Partner and be accountable to the Senior Business Manager ( who oversees multiple practices).

    The post holder will be part of the Practice Senior Leadership Team in participating and making all decisions about the practice and its developments.

    We are seeking a highly organised and experienced General Practice senior administrative colleague . You could either be a current Practice Manager or an Asst/ Deputy Practice Manager .

    Our services offer Primary care , all forms of bloods, treatment room services and procedures.

    Our site is easily accessible by being 5 mins off the M62 motorway.

    Main duties of the job

    As a Grange Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice having direct oversight of all operations of the practice and the team. This is a key leadership position that requires someone who wants a long term career that in turn can lead to longer term benefits becoming a key part of the practice Stakeholder team. We need an individual who has the time and commitment to give us, along with strong people skills and a passion for championing change ( we like to work innovatively).

    The Grange Medical Practice is a well established long running trusted GP Practice in Huddersfield. It is also the largest practice in Huddersfield with purpose built practice premises . The practice has had a change in partnership 4 years ago and has faced a major overhaul and has launched exciting new projects that it is pursuing to take forward.

    It has a team of enthusiastic and successful GP Partners who have significant experience and still have involvement in multiple healthcare related developments nationally .

    Job responsibilities

    Supervise and manage all aspects of the the practice operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and patient relations.

    Support Practice Development with expansion.- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and best practices.- Coordinate with practice team staff to ensure efficient patient care and optimal use of resources.- Handle human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and excellent customer service.- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient care, client communications, and business operations.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a GP practice is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of medical clinic operations, including medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
  • Proficient in human resources practices such as hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, staff, and vendors.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You need to hold a full clean license and own a car.
