Essential Qualifications
- Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
- Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management & Leadership or equivalent experience
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification or willingness to acquire one
- Level 3 Certificate Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) qualification or willingness to acquire one
Skills and experience
- Experience of developing educational strategies in a diverse and evolving business.
- Rigorous involvement with business planning and operative budget management.
- Experience of successfully managing high performing teams.
- Proven delivery experience within further education.
- Proven record of coordinating, developing, and delivering creative educational programmes.
- Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
- Experience of Ofsted inspections.
- Experience of leading within a continuously evolving environment.
- Experience of networking effectively relationships with a diverse variety of organisations.
- Ability to inspire, enthuse and motivate others.
- Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, Funding Bodies and Ofsted regulatory arrangements.
- Knowledge of curriculum planning.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or have the ability to travel.
